A few days back I was talking to my dutch friend and he complimented that your country and country people are just love and so brazen even your |Chai wala| is remarkably smart and own a beautiful soul I don’t know why our media highlight your country as a core terrorist and symbol of terrorism.
So, it is just impossible to find a foreign media provider giving a fair picture of Pakistan. The Country is filled with such true people and landscapes which portray an awesome, winning and a beautiful picture of Pakistan.
Pakistan is bloody brilliant country- Declared by Alex (an American girl) and her German friend. Today we are going to share this hilarious story of this young girl who declared Pakistan probably her last and first love.
Journey Of Alex from America to Pakistan
Alex gave her little intro:
“I’m a 25-year-old girl from the United States. I’m an average human that is addicted to travel, ice cream, and climbing trees. I spent most of my life in the United States but lived in the Netherlands (AKA Holland) for the past 3 years.”
Alex and her partner made a research for different countries worldwide and they found Pakistan most dangerous one but ignoring this all they planned to visit Pakistan and observe the reality by own. After reaching Pakistan they first observed the month of Ramadan, they were assuming that either they will be arrested while drinking water or they will have died due to the scorching heat of Karachi. but they were treated in the best way by habitat of Makli (a village type of area in Karachi). Alex and her partner Sebasstian has loved the hospitality of the people of Makli when they had Iftaar altogether. Both expressed their feelings as
“We came across the shrine as the sun was setting. Families and individuals were sprawled on the cool stones of the courtyard, waiting patiently for the sun to dip below the horizon. As it drew closer, helping hands pumped water into empty bottles, and trays of sliced fruit were distributed to everyone.
Precisely at sunset, a siren went off, and hands rose skywards as the call to prayer rang out through the megaphones. Despite us not being Muslims, we were welcomed in, shown around, and, of course, stuffed with fruit. We insisted that others should eat before us (we certainly weren’t fasting), but they refused to have anything before us.
When it was time to depart, they walked us to the entrance of the shrine and got us a ride home, waving to us as we drove away.”
They have visited so many places but spent most of their time in Karachi and Lahore and gained best people experience from here.
According to the tradition of Lahore, they could experience a variety of food there as Lahore is the food hub of Pakistan. They just summarized Lahore by saying ‘ food everywhere’. Said Alex, ‘This is an incredible
dinnertime view’ when they were having dinner in Food street in front of Badshahi Mosque.
When asked about either they took right decision to visit Pakistan or not she declared
“Whenever Pakistan shows up in the news, it’s always because something was blown up, or there was some another kind of terrorist activity.
When trying to research the country beforehand, all I encountered were warnings about how dangerous the country is, and how I definitely absolutely should NOT travel to Pakistan.”
At the end of their journey, they thought they had some best days of their lives and they thought these places deserve much more attention. As media is portraying an abrogating picture of Pakistan it doesn’t mean that foreigner ignores this paradise while traveling. They hoped they will influence another tourist by sharing their everlasting experience with the world.
