Chief of army staff Gen Raheel Sharif recently visited the National Counter Terrorism Training Center (NCTC) and there he was able to witness Pak-China special forces exercise. This two-week long exercise aimed to exchange the experience of counter-terrorism operations and armed conflict between the two armed forces.
The Chief of army staff appreciated and he congratulated all the participants for practicing the high level of professional and combat skills.
He said that he believes such exercise will help to strengthen our special relationship with Chinese armed force and collective effort will surely wipe off terrorism from this region, he also mentioned that the sharing of our experience with the world will definitely benefit humanity and as a nation it is our duty to spread peace and eliminate terrorism.
Activities like these are a definite positive sign of growth and nourishment for a nation like Pakistan which is already having its biggest fight against terrorism.
Chief of army staff was welcomed by corps commander Lt-Gen Umar Farooq Durrani and Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lt Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. Later the minister of Qatar, state for defense affairs Dr. Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Attiyah called on the Army Chief at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi to discuss matters related to Defense and its stability.
