Pakistan’s M2 motorway gets programmable digital sign boards

The latest addition to list of initiatives taken by present government is installation of digital
signboards at Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M2).

These digital signboards complement the motorway and can be used to splash updates regarding weather conditions, road conditions or even alerts of a general or critical nature to motorists who are using it since they are easily programmable.

The details about this project were shared by Roshan Pakistan on its official Twitter account. These digital sign boards display distances, present turn arrows and interesting quotes like:

Speed thrills, but kills

The government of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) began constructing motorways now, Karachi and Balochistan are being connected. Road networks are so important, they reduce distances and promote development.
