Fawad Alam completed 10,000 runs in first-class cricket

Fawad Alam who is a middle-order batsman completes 10,000 runs while playing for SSGC in Sialkot, against UBL for Quaid-e-Azam trophy.


Fawad Alam celebrated it with the SSGC family and he was very honored to lead them as a captain, at the same time. This thirty-One (31) year old guy was one of the best players of our national Pakistan cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman with the unbeaten record of 108 when he reached the milestone in his 211th inning during his 132nd first-class match.

The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan exclaimed that if he was a member of the national selection committee, then he wouldn’t have excluded this batsman from the list. Certainly, the chairman also mentioned that the selection was not made on any of his faults, but due to the crop of the recent available players.

Shaharyar Khan, also mentioned that the player like him is suitable in Tests instead of ODIs and T20’s but on the other hand we luckily already have a lot of very fine players in the format.
