Xiaomi’s highly anticipated release of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro has finally been confirmed! These phones are set to be two of the most impressive releases this year, with a host of amazing features.
As shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on Twitter yesterday, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are both billed to launch globally in the future. “We are going to launch Xiaomi 13 Series for our international markets soon! Stay tuned,” the executive posted, along with an image of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from these devices.
When will it be launched in Pakistan?
Xiaomi 13 Pro launch in Pakistan is not yet to be confirmed officially but it is expected to be launched in the mid of February 2023.
Design & Display
The Xiaomi 13 will feature an ultra-sleek design and a 6.36-inch OLED display. This display is larger than its predecessor, the Mi 12, and boasts an impressively high resolution of 1800 x 2400 pixels. The phone will also have a 120 Hz refresh rate, making it one of the smoothest displays on the market. This phone has up to 1900 nits peak brightness.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will follow suit with its own 6.73-inch 2k display and a 3200 x 1440 resolution. It’ll also support both HDR10+ and DCI-P3 wide color gamut for remarkable visuals that make binge-watching your favorite show all the more enjoyable! And like its non-Pro counterpart, you can also expect it to feature a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling through webpages or playing top-notch games
Hardware & Software
Under the hood, you can expect both devices to be powered by Qualcomm SM8550 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset which is paired with 12GB of RAM for multitasking without any lag. Storage-wise, you get 128GB as standard but you can upgrade up to 512GB depending on your needs. In terms of software, both phones run Xiaomi’s own MIUI 14 based on Android 13 so you know you’re getting a reliable UI experience with plenty of customization options
On the back, Xiaomi 13 Pro device features an impressive setup Leica triple camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens for capturing stunning landscapes or group shots with ease. As for selfies, 13 pro comes with a 32MP front camera that offers stellar performance in low light conditions as well as portrait mode capabilities for much more immersive selfie shots!

For some reason, only Wilderness Green and Far Mountain Blue have ceramic back panels. Xiaomi has priced the Xiaomi 13 Pro in China as follows:

- 8 GB of RAM/256 GB of storage – CNY 5,399 (~US$776)
- 12 GB of RAM/256 GB of storage – CNY 5,799 (~US$834)
- 12 GB of RAM/512 GB of storage – CNY 6,299 (~US$905)
It is expected to be price in Pakistan more than 150,000 PKR
