At closeout, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) unavailable ATR airplane sold for Rs8.3 million. The obsolete plane that was sitting at Gilgit Airport was sold to a piece vendor nearby.
Authorities said the airplane’s motor and different pieces were sold by weight. The sale was dispatched because of a report from the specialized branch of the public carrier. After its functional life was up, the plane was resigned.
